Sam loves visiting with groups of all ages to talk about two of his favorite topics: reading and writing! No matter the event, you can expect an engaging, interactive session for your:

Chasing Dreams (Best for Grades 3 and up – 30 to 45 minutes, including time for Q&A): The inspirational story of how Sam chased his dream of becoming an author, including all the ups and downs along the way. Includes tips for students chasing their own dream, no matter what it is. Custom version available for classes who have studied Fantasy stories or the Hero’s Journey!
The Writer in You! (Best for Grades 4 and up, 45-60 minutes, including time for Q&A): Where do ideas come from? How do I get started writing? Through real-life examples, interactive games, and short readings from his books, Sam will cover these questions and more as he guides students on a journey to finding their own creative spark.
